Congratulations to Koh Taos newest Technical Divers! This morning Nat, Sina and Mitch all finished their first level technical course at Davy Jones Locker, Koh Tao, Thailand. With the final decompression dive taking place on the HTMS Sattakut. Nat and Sina have been diving with us for around a year now. They have come all the way from PADI Open Water up to PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainers. Now they are also PADI Tec 40 divers! Mitch recently arrived on Koh Tao, after meeting Dave on a cave diving trip in Khao Sok National Park, on the Thai mainland.
Tec Fun Diving
Tomorrow morning all the guys are heading out for a couple of Tec fun dives. The first one will be on the Trident. This is another purposely sunk wreck that has played a big part in the discovery of new wrecks in the Gulf of Thailand. It has been used for training many of the technical divers who are on Koh Tao today. When it went out of service naturally the thing to do with her was to sink her and use her as a training site for wreck and technical divers. The second dive the guys are doing is back to the Sattakut to practice and perfect their buoyancy and trim.
